A world-class new Centre sportif for LGB!
Our sports coaches cannot wait to get started in LGB's brand new, multifunctional Centre sportif, which is due to open next academic year. The CHF25 million project was delayed due to Covid, but is finally nearing completion, and will see students enjoying five new multi-purpose gyms, separate gymnastics and fitness studios, 17 changing rooms, four classrooms, a specialist occupational therapy room and a café, in a stunning new building that links directly into the Centre des Arts. The largest gym will include seating for up to 1,000 spectators, making the Centre sportif a fantastic new hub for the wider community. A fundraising campaign has been launched to equip both the gymnastics suite and fitness studios with state-of-the art equipment, unlike any in other Swiss schools.
