I think the school set me up really well to understand people from any background, and from anywhere. I'm already deeply empathetic, but my experiences growing up with other people from all kinds of cultures really had a big impact on me.
I am a full-time fashion photographer, AI and mixed media artist. I primarily work with fashion brands to create their advertising materials, and am also working on a body of personal work. I also run an education business called Olivia Bossert Education, where I teach other fashion photographers the business of the industry.
Loads of Ecolint memories! But the art department was always my safe space, and I loved spending all my spare time there. It acted as the foundation for so much of my career today.

If I had to do it again, I would worry less about what people thought of me, and just do what made me happy.
My words of wisdom to students: the arts are incredibly rich with career possibilities. As wonderful as academia is, the world is nothing without art and creativity. If you feel a pull to lead a creative life, you can make it happen.
My legacy: one of colour and joy!
