Today I am back in Switzerland working independently as a Designer and Illustrator in the Valais, enjoying being creative surrounded by nature.
I spent 13 years of my formative life at La Châtaigneraie so it would be hard to choose one specific moment. What was so special was becoming a part of the Ecolint family and sharing these memories with people who will be with you long after you graduate.
Attending Ecolint set me up for an incredible future. The exposure to different cultures, people and opportunities gave me the skills, open-mindedness and confidence to go out into the world, travel, explore and meet amazing people. In my experience, the people who graduated from Ecolint are fearless and believe that they can make a difference which, for me, is incredibly powerful.
It is so hard to say what I would change. I am really happy with where I am in life and to get here everything had to have happened exactly as it did. It would be fun to time travel back and re-live a day with all the teachers and school friends again!
I know that these are words that young people hear so often but truly appreciate the time you have at Ecolint. Make the most of the incredible teachers and opportunities on offer. The skills that you learn now will set you ahead once you set off after graduation, no matter where you live or what you go on to do. It is such an incredibly special and privileged upbringing. You will rarely find yourself in such a culturally rich, openminded setting, creative setting. I am so proud to be a part of the Ecolint legacy.
