Learn more about me :

Today I am 33 years old, and I live in Milan. I have been here for the last year and a half, both working and studying. I work as an independent professional Graphic Designer and Art Director, while also pursuing my artistic practices in the contemporary art and design fields. And lastly, I am currently doing a MA in Luxury Brand Management at Politecnico di Milano.

I have too many great memories of Ecolint. I will however highlight that my art classes with Mr.Preece were always very fun and inspirational. And secondly, I simply loved hanging out with my friends at the cafeteria.

My time at Ecolint was truly eye-opening for me. Transitioning from Mexico City to Geneva as a 15-year-old teenager, especially coming from an all-girls Catholic school, marked a significant educational and cultural shift. Yet, beyond the geographical and social changes, it was the relationships forged with my classmates that defined my school experience. In retrospect, the most cherished aspect of post-graduation undoubtedly revolves around my friendships. From my first year at La Grande Boissière in 2015 to the present day, the bonds I've cultivated with my close friends at school remain steadfast even after all these years.

If I had to do it all over again, I would probably take advantage of the amazing facilities and the overall beautiful La Grande Boissière campus offered to the students. I look back now and feel extremely lucky to have been able to promenade from class to class, building to building, the amazing cafeteria overlooking the sports field. I think I took it for granted at times and focused more on what was going on outside of school.

My words of wisdom for Ecolint students:

  1. Don’t stress! You’re only a teenager attending one of the most beautiful schools in the world. You're lucky!

  2. Do, do and do some more. If you really want something, you need to work hard towards it, there is just no other way.

  3. Ask questions! Don’t be afraid or intimidated by adults. If you don’t ask, you don’t get.

What legacy do you want to leave? Legacy is a big word, but I guess I would like my work to serve as some source of inspiration. The idea of someone interested in my work and my creative endeavours is already a win for me.
