I live in London, where I am a Director and Head of Auction for Post-War Contemporary Art and Middle Eastern Art at Sotheby’s. I travel half of the year to the Middle East and across Europe to source paintings and works of art, but to also advise and meet our clients, whether buyers or sellers.
My favourite Ecolint memory: the incredible friends I made and all the numerous school trips we took!
The most important element for me was the “worldly” and international exposure you get at Ecolint. You are exposed to so many different cultures, languages and experiences and that really helped me advance in my career at a young age.
If I could do it all over again I would choose different electives such as History.
My words of wisdom for Ecolint students: don’t always worry about not knowing what you want to pursue in life after school. If you have a passion, work hard, be confident and great opportunities will always present themselves to you. Also, always be kind, it doesn’t cost a thing.
