This has helped me to adapt to many different working environments, learn from a broad spectrum of professional contacts and to meet many wonderful people in my personal life.
I am now based in London, where my partner and I make our home. I am a lawyer by training and have spent my career building and investing in software companies. I returned to Europe in 2023 after sixteen years in North America to start a new venture with my business partner and I look forward to sharing more details over the coming months.
No single memory of my time at Ecolint. What I value most is the wonderful friendships and relationships that still endure to this day.
The two ways Ecolint most helped me was to instil a global perspective and openness to ideas, cultures and people. This has helped me to adapt to many different working environments, learn from a broad spectrum of professional contacts and to meet many wonderful people in my personal life.
I believe that I made the best decisions that I knew how to make at the time. With hindsight, I would have spent more time as a teenager reflecting, thinking and exposing myself to areas that most interested me professionally. I believe this would have accelerated my career by building more confidence and direction at an earlier age.
My words of wisdom for Ecolint students: Take full advantage of the resources at your disposal, learn as much as possible from those around you and narrow down on what most interests you. I believe this will both help you chart your professional path but also help you navigate many areas of your personal lives.
The only legacy that is important to me is to know that I had a positive impact on my family, community and all those around me.
