Director General SearchDear members of the Ecolint community,As announced to the community in June, our Director General, Dr David Hawley, will be stepping down from his current role at the end of this school year, having accepted an offer to lead the Lycée Français de New York starting in July 2023. Over the summer, the Board has launched a recruitment process, by establishing a Director General (DG) Search Committee and mandating it with the search for the next DG. The Committee is led by René Bujard, Chair of the Board, with the support of Ivana Širović, new Board member, as deputy. The committee is composed of three other Board members: Chitra Subrahmanian, Nicolas Bindschedler and Philip Jennings. The Committee has enlisted a recruitment agency to conduct a worldwide search. Currently, the search process is in the early stage, and the Committee and the recruitment agency are keen to hear from the community. To this end, the DG Search Committee wants to establish a multi-stakeholder Advisory Committee to ensure the search process considers views and opinions of all members of the Ecolint community. The Advisory Committee is expected to consist of 10-12 members, and to be representative of staff, students, parents, Board members and alumni across all campuses, taking into account the full diversity of the Ecolint community. In order to be appointed to the Advisory Committee, candidates should demonstrate motivation, availability, an ability to represent their constituency and a steadfast commitment to our school. Following the establishment of the Advisory Committee on 13 September, it will be convened on 20 and 21 September to meet with the Search Committee and the recruitment consultants. Through these meetings, the recruitment consultants will want to gain a deeper understanding of Ecolint, and our expectations and aspirations for the school's future and the next DG. Au cours de l’été, le Conseil de Fondation a lancé le processus de recrutement en créant un Comité de recherche d’un Directeur général (DG) et en le chargeant de la recherche d’un prochain DG*. Le Comité est présidé par René Bujard, Président du Conseil de Fondation, avec pour adjointe Ivana Širović, membre du Conseil nouvellement élue. Le Comité se compose de trois autres membres du Conseil : Chitra Subrahmanian, Nicolas Bindschedler et Philip Jennings. Le Comité a fait appel à une agence de recrutement pour mener une recherche au niveau mondial. Actuellement, le processus de recherche en est à ses débuts, et le Comité et l'agence de recrutement sont désireux de consulter la communauté. Pour ce faire, le Comité de recherche souhaite former un Comité consultatif représentant l’ensemble de la Fondation afin de garantir que le processus de recherche tienne compte des points de vue et des opinions de tous les membres de la communauté Ecolint. Le Comité consultatif devrait être composé d’environ 10 à 12 membres et être représentatif du personnel, des élèves, des parents, des membres du Conseil et des anciens élèves de tous les campus, en tenant compte de la diversité de la communauté de l'Ecolint. Pour siéger au sein du Comité consultatif, les candidats doivent faire preuve de motivation, de disponibilité, de capacité à représenter leur groupe et d'un engagement solide envers notre école.
