Learn more about me :
I graduated from La Grande Boissière in 2012 and I am currently living in my hometown of Gothenburg, Sweden. I am very fortunate to be able to work in both of my two big interests: MedTech and music.
I am Co-Founder and CEO at Atley Solutions, a startup which has developed a production method for a new type of pharmaceutical drug that has the potential to cure several types of cancer without major side effects. I am also the bassist in the band Maple & Rye.
It is impossible to pick just one favourite Ecolint memory! I very much enjoyed all the Talent Shows, the 8th grade musical, Students’ League of Nations, graduation and beating La Châtaigneraie in rugby, to name just a few.
My Ecolint experience helped mould me into the person I am today, and I think that the most important tool that Ecolint taught me was critical thinking. Critical thinking has allowed me to analyse better the world around me, as well as to analyse myself and my own biases.
If I had to do it all over again, I am not sure if I would change anything. Perhaps I would have chosen to continue studying music and theatre for longer rather than fully focusing on the sciences.
My words of wisdom for Ecolint students: Don’t rush! When you enter your final years of school, you may feel a lot of pressure from parents, peers, teachers, etc. to follow the path that others think is best for you. What I have realised since leaving La Grande Boissière is that there are a plethora of possible paths to take. It doesn’t hurt to take your time after graduation, enjoy your teenage years a little, try out some different lines of work, travel, etc. before deciding what you want to be when you grow up.
The legacy I want to leave: I hope to be able to contribute to the development of a curative treatment for at least one cancer (the more the better of course!). That is my ultimate ambition. At the same time, I will be happy if at the end of my life, I can look back and say that the net impact of all my actions was positive.
I have a few exciting projects coming up with Maple & Rye: we are planning for the upcoming release of a new single. With Atley Solutions, we are currently planning for our expansion into the US market. I am equally excited for both!
