I live in New York City. I am a journalist and author and spend my days surrounded by words and ideas. A dream job!

One of my cherished Ecolint memories was hearing someone call my name on my first day there when I thought I didn’t know a soul and realise it was my friend Mona; lunch at the Roadrunner; my beloved chemistry teacher Mr. Archipoff; assembly in the Greek theatre.

My experience at Ecolint helped me when I arrived at New York University, I felt as though it was another Ecolint campus. Completely at ease, I was able to meet and befriend people from all over the world.

If I could do it all over again, I would skip the failed one year of law school in Geneva!

My advice to young students today is Be brave! Follow what you love even if you can’t see where it leads you.

I hope travellers and food lovers will read my stories and be inspired by them.
