Bachelor of Business Administration at EDHEC Business School

Ecolint has been invaluable in the way I view the world. The education at Ecolint is truly unique.

Where are you currently studying, and what course or program did you choose? Why did you choose it?

I am currently studying at EDHEC Business School, in Nice. I am enrolled in a particular Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course called "Global BBA Track" - the reason I chose it is the incredibly diverse nature of the program. Students rotate from EDHEC Nice Campus, UCLA, and NTU Singapore. I believe that the exposure to these diverse settings will lead to experiences that are invaluable to my future career and dreams.

What has been the highlight of your business school experience so far, academically or socially?

It is certainly the people I met. I was able to find people with the same ambitions and mindset, which created a growth environment for me. It challenged me to take risks, get out of my comfort zone, and build resilience. I created new student societies with classmates and I am currently working on several start-up projects with students I met in uni.
Living abroad and being in this new environment allowed me to find a new social circle as well. People are open-minded, and thus the first weeks of integration were exciting and rewarding, despite all doubts I had. I am grateful to have met some awesome people and made some of my best friendships in this first year already.

What do you hope to achieve or explore during your studies?

I hope to learn much more about the business world and get as much exposure to novel ideas/practices. I seek to build resilience and the foundation for my future success. During my studies, I wish to find a clearer picture of how I envision my future career and life. For this, I long to learn the wide principles of business and, from there, create my personal route towards the future.

What advice would you give to Ecolint students preparing to enter higher education?

It is a learning curve. It is important to have big dreams, but things don't change in one day. What matters is to take one step consistently every day towards this dream and having faith. Little things in life are the true path to fulfillment and happiness - try to see the little positive things in life, as they are the subtle daily drivers to get out there and take action.

Are there any experiences or lessons from Ecolint that helped you adapt to or succeed in your business school?

Ecolint has been invaluable in the way I view the world. The education at Ecolint is truly unique, and it has equipped me with the kind of open-mindedness and resilience needed to meet new people, identify and dive into opportunities, and weather the overwhelming times. A lesson I learned that I carry preciously is that everyone has their own interesting story - one side of a person does not fully capture who they are. Despite our differences, there is always something that is shared amongst two humans. Ecolint has planted this seed in me, and I am truly grateful for this.
