Ecolint’s 75th anniversary in 1999 was celebrated with a gala evening in a symbolically appropriate setting: the Palais des Nations, which was originally built for the League of Nations, and is now the headquarters of the United Nations in Europe. As guests begin to arrive, the Director General, George Walker, is finalising some technical details with alumna Felicity Medinnis (microphone in hand), the daughter of Robert J. Leach.
At the time, she was running the Audiovisual Department in collaboration with its founder, Michael Knight, whom she would succeed in that role. In parallel, she had achieved prominence as a rower: Felicity represented both Switzerland and the United Kingdom in international competitions.
